What a cookie is here
A cookie is a small file stored by your browser. Similar tools include local storage and pixels that load from another domain. Some are set by us (first-party). Some are set by a vendor if we embed their script (third-party).
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. Blocking essential cookies may break the contact form, CSRF protection, or a cookie-preference banner itself.
Cookie categories
- Essential
Required for security and basic features: session or CSRF tokens, load-balancer stickiness, and storing your cookie choices if we show a banner. These run without marketing consent because the site cannot operate safely without them.
- Analytics
We do not currently run a named analytics product on this site. Host logs may record the page requested, for security and uptime.
- Marketing
We do not currently run conversion pixels for ads on this site. If that changes, the tool will be listed here.
- Embedded third parties
If a page embeds a video, map or form hosted elsewhere, that host may set its own cookies. We will avoid surprise embeds. If we add one, the page context should make the host obvious.
How to control tracking
- Use the cookie banner if the site displays one, and change your mind later if we provide a link in the footer
- Use browser settings to block third-party cookies or to clear storage for progley.com
- Use industry opt-out tools for advertising cookies if we later run them, plus the vendor’s own opt-out
- Use a content blocker if you wish; we do not try to circumvent honest blocking
- Unsubscribe from email separately; that is not a cookie issue
Consent
Where we are required to obtain consent before non-essential cookies (for example under ePrivacy rules in the EEA/UK), we will not set those cookies until you accept. Essential cookies do not wait on that banner. If you are in a region that allows analytics on legitimate interests with a clear opt-out, we will still document the tool and the opt-out.
Consent records, if we store them, exist to show what you chose, not to build a profile.
Updates
If we add an analytics tool or an ads pixel, we will name the vendor and the purpose on this page.
